Whats the best time of the year to lay turf?
The beauty of our turf is that it can be laid at any time of the year. Whenever new turf is laid, though, it’s important to make sure it stays damp until it’s firmly rooted into the soil below. This means that, during the summer, extra care must be taken when watering your turf. During the winter keeping your turf damp is less of a problem – but root growth is slower so you may have to wait a little longer before you can use your new lawn.
