People respond differently to the treatment, but that doesn’t mean you will be sleepy afterward. In fact, after a massage, many people feel more energized and peaceful with a renewed sense of well being. No matter when you receive your massage, you will probably sleep better when you finally go to bed. Therefore, schedule your session when it’s convenient for you. Give yourself time to relax before and after your session. Also, don’t eat a heavy meal right before your session. I recommend you eat couple of hours before your treatment and drink plenty of water after the session. For working out, I recommend receiving massage just before exercise rather than immediately afterward. If you do plan to work out after a session, I suggest you wait a couple of hours and remember to stretch before and after your workout.
