Whats the best thing youve done as a councillor?
I have been involved in many big decisions since becoming a councillor, but it’s not always the big projects that give me the most satisfaction. I once received a really heartfelt thank you letter from an elderly resident for helping her with a fairly easy to deal with problem. It meant a lot to her that she could talk to someone about her problem and to see a positive result in a couple of days, I still have the thank you letter on my desk to remind me of why I do this job.
