Be very very careful what you put on it… ice helps the burning and itching. A prescription topical steroid cream is most likely what you need, unless it’s a fungus. If it’s a fungus, that topical steroid is going to make it worse. You can TRY using an antifungal cream on the rash mixed with a little bit of topical steroid. You can be allergic to many of the other things people said to use unfortunately. Best bet is to take an antihistamine. Keep taking it for a few days. If the rash is not improving, it’s probably a fungus or yeast infection and I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but you most likely will need a doctor. You can also try someone women’s yeast cream (miconazole). Sorry couldn’t be of more help. Good luck with that!
