Whats the best thing about being a stepmom?
Don’t give up on this. It is important that you don’t teach your child to be a quitter or to run when things get bad. I am a stepmother to two wonderful kids and I have been married to their father for 8 years now. The first 2 to 4 years are the hardest but you need to realize that you are a family now and that is why the ex is so upset. She resents the fact that your husband recovered from the divorce and started over with you. Look you were really doomed from the beginning because you were going to be a step mom. Ever heard a fairy tale about a step mom that was good or portrayed in a positive light? Of course not and that in itself sucks. My step kids once asked me to stop calling myself their step mom when I spoke to anyone at their school. I asked them why and they told me that it sounded evil. I thought about it and ya know they were so right. My point is that when you marry a man that has children from a previous marriage, you instantly become a step mom and there goes your drea
