Whats the best “teach yourself guitar” book?

The best in my opinion is Guitar for Dummies. No Kidding. I have used it and I recommended it to a couple friends and they thought it was great. The thing with it is that it shows you the mechanics of making music with the guitar by showing you basic chord shapes first. A lot of books will show you the notes on the musical staff and make you memorize that stuff first but it makes it harder than it should be. Also it will show you how to read tab so you don’t have to learn how to read music. Also check out wholenote.com for some good guitar advice.
