Whats the best street to live on in Chelsea London?
Cheyne Walk is considered to be the most exclusive and desirable street in Chelsea. It has a long history of well-known and eminent residents, and today numerous film and rock stars have houses there. Properties sell for at least around £4 to 5 million. Kings Road itself is somewhat down-market, commercial and too busy. The answer above which called it “leafy” is possibly trying to be funny, I suspect, although it is indeed cringe-inducingly upper middle class. There are a few trees along the road, but “leafy ” it is definitely not. The roads off it have very small properties, which whilst comparatively expensive, tend to be frequented by those aspiring to Cheyne Walk but who will never make it.
Anywhere along the King’s Road Chelsea or any side street leading to it. This Google Map shows you the King’s Road Chelsea and streets leading to it etc. http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?hl=en&tab=… You can now easily ‘walk’ around anywhere in London by using the little man thing on the Google map – brilliant. See before you go etc. My fave shop for shoes in the King’s Road ‘R-Soles’ – check it out.
