well heavenly is right in the town of south lake tahoe so you can stay there and be right in the midst of the bars and nightlife…the other good resorts require a little travel time…squaw is amazing and about 25 minutes from lake tahoe..kirkwood is great too and about a 30 minute drive as well but you would want to stay in lake tahoe and make daytrips to those resorts since they dont have any apres ski life
