Whats the best retrieving gundog for retrieving poultry (peasants)?
It’s often just a matter of preference when it comes to choosing a gun dog. Some people want a dog that ranges far, some want the dog to work quite close to them. Some are also looking for a dog that will retrieve waterfowl. Some of the best pheasant dogs will only point them (possibly flush them), but won’t retrieve naturally-it can take a lot of work to convince a Setter to retrieve.
