Whats the best place to live, San Antonio, Texas or New York, New York City?
I’m not sure if you have ever been to San Antonio or New York, but since I am from Baltimore, Maryland I will give you an unbiased opinion. I go to college in Austin, Texas and one weekend my boyfriend and I decided to go sightseeing in San Antonio. Let me tell you, what a waste! I hated it, personally. I heard that is use to be really nice, but now its pretty dirty, there is graffiti everywhere, homeless people all over the streets. We didn’t feel safe or comfortable, and supposedly when it gets really hot in the summer the river that goes through the city STINKS. I would never go back. I’ve also heard that it’s starting to get dangerous because of gangs. On the other hand, I have been to New York a few times and I loved it. There’s so much to do and something is always going on. The bad part is that it is ridiculously expensive to live there, so I probably would never move there myself. But in general I would stay away from San Antonio. Austin is GREAT though!
