Whats the best part about being a mod?
The best part by far is getting to see so many topics that I wouldn’t have seen before. Of course, this makes me a bad moderator, as I’ll just moderate a couple of messages before I see one that I find interesting. I’ll then stop moderating and read the whole topic. So despite the time I often intend to spend moderating, I spend more time reading all the neat topics that come up. Since the goal was to find something to do while I’m working on homework or taking a break, I’d say that, at least in my case, it worked out pretty well.
