There’s an app called the CityTransit which is a very detailed guide for traveling by subway in NYC. The app includes detailed maps of stations and stops, and a GPS-type finder. The maps included in the app are direct from the NYC MTA, so no 3rd party maps that might or might not be accurate. As of finding the articles about it is is or was only $2.99.
