this is a question that will be left very subjective and biase… i think there are so many great games on the DS for different people, instead of 1 game.. i will compile a list of games for you that i think is really good: (1) professor layton [puzzle game] (2) new super mario bros [platformer] (3) mario kart DS [racing] (4) the legend of zelda: phantom hourglass [action/adventure] (5) elite beat agents [rhythm] that should get you started with your DS collection.. and there are plenty of more good games on top of that… but the only downside of DS [flash cart] cartridges is that they do not produce many of them (as they generally cost more than a DVD) and so you cannot find good old DS games… my friend, for instance, got the original ace attorney for about 40 bucks on ebay (10 dollars on top of original price)… go good luck and have fun!!
