Whats the best natural treatment for hormone imbalance in women?
I have your answer: By the time we are 11 years old until we are 56 years old, we menstruate on a monthly basis. Some of us start sooner or later and some of us end sooner or later. The female human body is set up to change on a monthly basis through the hormones that our ovaries create for us. Because things change so much every few weeks, we have to learn to take these natural changes in stride and not get suckered into thinking we have an “imbalance” of hormones. The ONLY WAY that a hormone imbalance can be diagnosed in a man or a woman is through an expensive blood test. And let me warn you that when human beings (men or women) take hormones into their bodies, they can be asking for an extremely bad reaction, including cancer. So men and women should never take hormone therapy unless they are under a physician’s care and it is regulated with blood tests and monitored. There is no “natural” estrogen, even though you may find supplements and vitamins that promise they are “identical”
It depends on what kind of hormone it is, and how severe the problem…and of course, what the risks are if it’s left untreated vs. treated. My mother got breast cancer from estrogen replacement therapy. She no longer takes estrogen. My sisters and I all have messed up thyroids, so we take thyroid hormone. In the latter case, the pros outweigh the cons. Thyroid hormone is synthetic, but it is structurally identical to the natural hormone.
