Whats the best natural kitty litter?
I tried World’s Best, and although I liked it a little better because it wasn’t as dusty as Swheat Scoop, it had an odd aroma and was WAY more expensive. Yesterday’s News I hear is OK, but when I tried it, the pellet shape wasn’t too pleasing to the cats, even mixed with ordinary litter. I guess that would be something you’d have to slowly train your cat to use. The other ones I’ve looked at are just way to pricey, so I’d just stick with SWheat Scoop if you’re happy with it. It’s got a few cons (doesn’t clump too quickly, dust), but the benefits far outweigh those. It’s easy to clean up, you can flush it (though I don’t, old sewer system), great odor control – the best I’ve used in all my years of cat raisin’. I buy the big 40/44lb bags, keep it next to the box, and when it’s running a bit low, I just scoop a couple more cups of the litter in.
