Whats the best nail hardener out there?
Oh my. As a nail tech, I have to disagree that buffing your nails will make them harder. If you’re trying to make your nail harder, you have to either use a hardener from the outside, or increase your nutrient intake from the inside. In my experience, the best nail hardener out there is OPI Nail Envy. It’s sold in nail salons. Follow the directions that are included in the box. I do recommend too to keep your nails filed back to a short length while you’re working on making them harder. When you’re filing, make sure you file from the edge of the nail to the middle – on the left side of the nail, go left to right – on the right side of the nail, go right to left. Going with the natural grain of the nail will keep the layers of your nail plate stuck together instead of pulled apart.
