Myrtle Beach in July is not gonna be cheap anywhere. You can check with maybe the Gazebo Inn. It is ocean front but not a resort hotel, more Mom ‘N Pop. But it was clean the last time I stayed there about 10 years ago. We have rented a house for the week of the 4th through VRBO for $750 for the entire week. I think that is pretty reasonable considering the hotels are around $150/night. It is in Surfside Beach in the Oceanside Village Community. You might find some last minute cancellations there.
