Whats the best month to go to Disney World?
You have to factor in what matters to you to decide on the best month. Disney World, especially the theme parks are very busy during any holidays and during the summer months when most children are off from school. If you prefer to go when its less crowded I would avoid those times.
December is a good time to go if you want to enjoy the Holiday decorations and festivities. All 4 of the theme parks have special holiday events. The week between Christmas and New Years though is the busiest time of year and is incredibly crowded.
i did in 2006 and it was awful. don’t get me wrong disney world is super fun no matter what but it IS crowded cuz families are taking their end of the summer vacation. and the weather is brutal. the average high is 91 with many days reaching higher than that and the night time low only gets down to around 71. its hot and humid. it rains nearly every afternoon usually between 3-6pm. the showers and storms pass though quickly though (usually lasts only about 30-60 minutes) it was so hot when we were there that one day when it was sunny and 95 degrees my sister’s sandal actually broke cuz the glue holding it together (yeah i know glue=crappy sandal anyways) melted due to the sunny beating down on it. personally unless it was my only option i’d never go in late august again.
