• According to Alain, for 24fps movies 72 Hz or 96 Hz should give you the best quality. • Mike Hart’s suggestion for running at 120 Hz is very good – 120 is divisible by both 24 and 30, so it should be good for both 24 fps and 30 fps movies! Note that not all monitors or video cards can support 120 Hz refresh, and you might have to set your resolution lower. • Playback Freezes • If it’s not caused a by conflict with some background process (anti-virus software, etc) or a dirty disc, then it might be that the card’s either not seated nicely. • In very rare cases, it may be a thermal problem.
