Whats the best kind of batteries to have with a Digital Camera?

Li-ion batteries are the best for many reasons … they hold their charges longer … even when not being used. They can last for many years … I have some that are over five years old and they are still operating as they did when new. You just have to take your charger with you when you travel and remember not to leave it in your hotel room. AA batteries are well known for being available anywhere in the world … they are also well know to have poor performance in digital cameras. For that reason, digital cameras that do use AA batteries are optimized to use NiMH AA rechargeable batteries … although they do not hold their charges as well as Li-ion batteries.
