Whats the best Italian or French restaurant in Kuala Lumpur?
There is an Italian restaurant just behind the huge Victoria’s Station & Jake’s Steakhouse in Medan Damansara, called La Risata. They have a sister restaurant in Ampang Hilir, just a few shops down from the Ampang Mini Market. Alternatively, there is the wonderful Pizza Uno. Check the link for more details. Highly recommended. I know you are looking for “off-the-beaten-track”, but in terms of yumminess, Prego’s at the Westin Hotel in Bukit Bintang and Avanti’s at the Sunway Lagoon Resort in Sunway are still the restaurants to beat. Expensive, but worthwhile. :O) If you are looking at trying something interesting, may I recommend the Las Carretas restaurants, serving Mexican food. Again, pls refer to the link for more details.
