Whats the best GCSE subject choice for my daughter who wants to become a movie director?
GCSE subjects aren’t really all that relevant to later studies. She might like to take media studies, drama or art perhaps. But it doesn’t really matter, since GCSE’s are only stepping stone to A-levels. I can’t advise a specific uni, but here’s the ucas list of all uni’s offering courses at the moment: http://search.ucas.com/cgi-bin/hsrun/sea… Looks like Kingston and Aberystwyth offer a lot of courses which suggests they’re more heavily involved with film, but it’s very important to check them out personally. Edit: It’s very important to get at least a C grade in English GCSE.
