Whats the best deal on an SD memory card for a digital camera?”
SD cards come in two flavors: Secure Digital (SD up to 2GB) and Secure Digital High Capacity (SDHC from 4GB up to 32GB). Newer cameras take the SDHC cards but can use the older SD version. Older cameras can’t use the newer version. (These are the same physical size, the pics are slightly different scale.) If you aren’t sure what kind of camera he has, stick to SD cards, they will work in anything. You can find 2GB SD cards most any place on line (including Amazon) for under 10 bucks. You can find 4GB SDHC cards under 10 bucks if you shop around (I paid $9.99 for my last one, a Class 6 Kingston SDHC at NewEgg.com on special sale). A lot of places are using SD cards as Black Friday Specials. Shop around and don’t pay more than 10 bucks (including shipping if you buy online) for anything under 4GB.
