the best overall defence armour is torag the best non degradable armour is bandos but it only has a torso armour and a plateskirt armour so you will need another helm (torag helm or helm of neit.) best magic armour is ahrims but if your wearing ahrims you will need to wear a rune kite shield or higher and rune boots or higher (ahrim robes give less def than addy.) best ranging armour is armadyl but it is quite expensive so you should use karils armour with torag helm for defence.
