Whats the best bow to hunt both whitetail deer and black bears?
One you can hit the target with…I used to shoot a minimum of 100 arrows a day for a month before bow season, and I hunted in Arizona, New Mexico, Colorado and Utah, lets face it, mulies are not that much different from whitetails, you need shot placement, something you can hit the kill zone with…everyone likes the new ‘high-speed’ bows with graphite arrows, and they are nice, I shoot one now, but…you can be just as deadly with a stick bow and dowel arrows, if you know how to use it…so, make sure the poundage will give you good penetration, match the arrow and broad head with the bow, and practice, practice. practice, and remember, you are going for the hunt, not the kill, if you collect an animal, that is the bonus…be safe and have a good time.
