We may be experiencing March Madness at the moment, but the baseball season isn’t too far away. (And I for one, cannot wait. Go Cubs!) At this year’s Tribeca Film Festival, Tribeca and ESPN will be announcing film fans’ choice for the best baseball movie of all-time. The process of picking the best starts by nominating your favorite on the Tribeca web site between now and Mar. 26. Then the finalists will be seeded and paired in a NCAA Basketball-style tournament with ESPN personalities debating the participating films. The grand champion baseball movie will then be crowned on Apr. 25, opening day for the film festival. So hustle over to the Tribeca web site to nominate your choice. The process is a lot harder than it seems. Sure basketball as Hoosiers and boxing has Rocky or Raging Bull, but baseball doesn’t have a clear favorite.
