Whats the best airport to use for getting to Lova Lava Land?
Our location page will help in deciding. But the answer is either – Kona is closer in miles but the Hilo drive is easier and less curvy. Both are beautiful drives with a lot too see on the way. We like to fly into Hilo if we’re arriving after dark or Kona if we are arriving during the day outside of local commuter times (when traffic is heavy). Commuter traffic from Kona, heading our way, tends to be the heaviest around 3PM-5:30PM.
