Whats the Benefit between Stamped Concrete and Pavers ?
– Pavers and stone require about twice the time to install! The cost to have it done is as much, if not more expensive, than stamp-work due to: Man Hours, Labor, Setting each stone, Cutting edge pieces etc. – You can see (me) laying pavers in the “Photo Album” under “Misc Pics”. – Pavers have a tendency to shift / sink overtime. – The gaps between the pavers will allow grass and weed growth because of the spaces between them. – Concrete can be stamped, textured, stained and contoured to look just like pavers, slate, wood etc. – No weeds will grow through the stamped design because the design does not go all the way through! – Take a look at our stamp designs and see for yourself. • My driveway is cracked all over. Can you just pour over it and use the existing driveway as a base? – Although that sounds like a quick fix, your concrete cracked all over for a reason. – Most older jobs do not have stress joints every 8′-10′.
