The Color-Logic Process Metallic Color System™ was developed with the concept of printers using their regular CMYK process inks. These are printed over the top of a specially formulated metallic base ink. This metallic base ink is known as ” CL 4713 SILVER ” and is available in two different grades – Standard and Best (explained later in this presentation). Using the Color-Logic system a designer can create multiple metallic SPOT colors by overprinting CMYK inks on top of this special metallic ink.
