Whats the basic set-up of Berserker?
Berserker is a story that takes place in Norse mythology, in the modern day. It’s about these two guys who find out that they have this quality to go berserk, to literally rip people in half. But it’s an undiscerning ability. There’s no distinction between your friends or your foes. So it’s good because you think you can tear apart an entire army with your bare hands, and I mean literally tear flesh with your bare hands. You can pick up cars and throw them. But then when your buddies are all cheering you on, you might turn on them and rip them up, too. So it’s the internal struggle that these two guys have, and one is a young high school athlete and the other is a returning vet from Afghanistan. What they really have to deal with is the weight and the emotion of this burden. Berserker started as a screenplay by Rick Loverd that ended up at your producton company, DiVide Pictures. How much of a hand did you and your partner, Russ Cundiff, have in helping to shape Berserker as a comic bo
