Whats the ball on a tow bar called?
If you’re in Australia, it’s called a Tow Ball. Simple, eh! Yeh, the 50/45 refers to the diameter in millimetres. Just go down your local Supercheap Auto or Auto One or whatever your local auto store is and ask them for a Tow Ball, tell them which size you need. If you can’t find the size you need at an auto store, go to a wrecker and ask about them. If you still can’t find one, you may need to visit a trailer parts store (one store comes to mind, it’s called “Trailer Parts”) and get a 50mm tow hitch. Bloody annoying that they made 45mm towballs illegal, but beneficial in the long run, because eventually nobody will have to worry about which size they need.
