An estimated average price without insurance benefits is $4000 for both eyes. Note: this can range depending upon your geographical location, prices set by private doctors, age of patient, degree of surgery required, etc. The surgery performed is usually on the muscles of the eye to make the eyes align straight forward, rather than turning in. This is usually permanent, however the success is based upon the “after-care” compliance of the patient. If a patient is to wear glasses afterwards for a prescription correction, yet fails to do so, the results cannot be guaranteed.
