Whats the average lifespan for my furnace or air conditioner?
The average lifespan for a furnace is 12 – 15 years, and for an air conditioner is 12 – 17 years. If your system is older than this, but still working great, you should still consider replacing the equipment. Newer equipment is much more efficient, and will, in the long run, save you much more than you spend on the initial investment. Plus, current furnaces and air conditioners, help everyone out by decreasing the tax on our environment.
