Whats the average blood pressure numbers?

0

the average for people from 18 – 65 years of age is about 120/80. If the first number is below 100 then you are classed as hypotensive (low blood pressure) and if your about 140/90 then your classed as hypertensive (high blood pressure) so readings like for example: 126/83 115/62 137/75 129/84 are quite normal and are nothing to worry about. Examples of bad blood pressure are: 70/43 0/4 220/115 160/100 and so on. Hope this helps Just to note the mean arterial pressure (MAP) has no real use for a person wanting to know what the average blood pressure.
