Whats the authors message in julius caesar play?
I don’t know for sure. I think Shakespeare partly wrote his plays simply to make money, so a good part of his reason for writing this play was probably pure entertainment. I mean, the man was a genius and a poet, sure, and he wasn’t ONLY playing to the crowd. But I do think that was a big part of it. What’s going to sell? What will my audience like to see? What parts can I write for my favorite actors, both because I want them to be happy and because I want them to keep working for me? Beyond that, I have some ideas about what Shakespeare intended in “Julius Caesar”, but I’m not sure I just want to give them to you so that you can avoid reading the play for yourself. But here’s a hint: When Brutus and Cassius and the rest of the conspirators decide to assassinate Caesar, how well does the assassination turn out for them personally, in the end? Do they win the goals that they’re aiming for, Brutus and Cassius and the others? Or do they lose? Another question: is the killing of Caesar go
