Since 1988, high school students across the country have vied for a First Place, $10,000 U.S. Savings Bond — all theirs for winning NMA’s American Enterprise Speech Contest! NMA chapters hold local and regional competitions, resulting in six contestants reaching the “Finals” at the NMA National Conference. Approved by the National Association of Secondary School Principals, its primary purpose is to promote a better understanding of the American Enterprise System among high school students in grades 9 – 12.
