MHSP is 1.5 miles from West Oakland BART, a straight shot out 7th Street that is easily biked, but caution is essential as there is no bike lane. AC Transit Bus 13 serves the park on the weekends, but not after 5pm. If you’re using AC Transit, arrive early with a plan to obtain a lift back to BART. Walking to BART takes a little over a half hour over rough territory (no sidewalks, industrial settings). Think before you head out.
