Whats the “Account Number” on a Scotiabank Bank Card?
Typically your bank card number does NOT correspond with your bank account number. It’s been a long time since I registered with paypal, but back then they wanted me to enter the information from a cheque (which does have the institution number, transit number and account number). Your bank card has a sequential series of numbers related only to the series of cards provided to your branch, the only connection between IT and you ACCOUNT is the link within Scotiabanks computers. Your best bet is to call the customer support number on the back of your card and ask them for the Institution, Transit and Account numbers and then enter those into the Paypal website.
