What’s Sunderland like as a city?

0

Sunderland is the largest city in the North East with all that you need in a relatively compact area. The city has seen much investment in recent years, and as a result, Sunderland has an increasingly lively city centre. There is a newly expanded shopping centre and plenty of bars, clubs, restaurants, theatres, arts centres, tourist attractions and sporting & leisure facilities to choose from. Both the Royal Hospital and the Eye Infirmary sites are only a few minutes from the city centre, and the Royal Hospital site is within walking distance to the nearest Metro station, with buses also passing every few minutes.
