What’s so special about Mike’s home?
LSU’s tigers live in a $3 million, 15,000 square foot, state-of-the-art habitat filled with lush vegetation and a large Live Oak tree to provide shade and a more natural setting. A stream, complete with waterfall, runs through the plant life, allowing Mike the chance to swim for exercise or just to cool off. It is one of the largest and finest tiger habitats found in the U.S., if not the world.
