The Alphonso variety is widely produced in the coastal region of Maharashtra and Gujarat- the two States of Western India. And within the Konkan belt rests Devgadh & Ratnagiri, blessed with soil, sun and humidity that imparts a very unique aroma and flavour to its mangoes.
