Whats so great about the bible?
The Bible is great because it is the inspire Word Of God. Yes, it is written by different authors, but that doesn’t make it any less a work of great importance to mankind. The Bible has stood the test of time, and has survived amid conflicts to eradicate it from the face of the earth, efforts to nullify its message, and attempts at lessen its importance by taking cheap shots at the writers and at God Himself. But you know what? God gets the last word. He’s the one who lends our next breath. He’s the one who decides whether we live or die. He’s the one we will all give an account to when we draw our last breath on this earth. The Bible is our road map to eternal life. That is what makes it so great. You can read Shakespeare’s works until you have memorized every line, but that will never lead you to eternal life.
