Whats so great about Freedom of Speech?
freedom of speech is not about communicating to the govt, its about communicating with your fellow citizens and to keep them aware and informed. If as you say govt is not listening to the people in terms of giving policies that favor the people, then the people are free to talk about it amongst themselves, inform each other, gather and have meetings to discuss what they are going to do about it….hopefully, create a movement to find and elect people to govt that will replace the bad leaders and usher in new pro the people policies.
