What’s so bad about travel agents?
If you know an agent who you trust and who knows the full choice of Moroccan riads and hotels well, then you could consider using them. However, in our experience these agents just don’t really seem to exist. This is partly due to most agents covering a range of countries which means there is a limit on how many Moroccan hotels they genuinely know well. Also, many agents also enter into formal agreements with hotels for the ‘clearing’ of excess (i.e. inferior “left over”) rooms which means that they do not promote other better value hotels. On strict principle, Morocco Gateway will never enter into such agreements.
