Eh, you kids today. He’s humming the Metroid theme song, and the two sprites you see there are from the original Metroid game for the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES), circa 1987. It’s been rereleased as Metroid: Zero Mission for the Gameboy Advance, so all of you who missed it can play it again for the first time.
