Well, he got the chance to show what he could do and no second string goalkeeper can wish for more. At the start of season 07/08 Radek Cerny could not have imagined he’d figure in goal for Tottenham as many times as he did. And he did pretty well on the whole with some fine saves, and was probably just as useful between the sticks as Paul Robinson would have been – had he been allowed to get back on a run of appearances. But now Radek’s off to QPR and I feel it only right we wave goodbye to him with a caption competition in his honour.
