Whats on in Pembrokeshire?
The Pembrokeshire Coast National Park is one of Britain’s most breathtaking places in the country. It sits in about a third of the county and includes the entire costal strip as well as the upper reaches of the Daugleddau, (which means two swords) the Daugleddau Estuary (which is known to locals as the secret waterway) and the Preseli’s. This is the only National Park that is completely made up of coastal area. The National Park constantly runs a wide array of activities and events for adults and children alike. They have beautiful rock pools to peruse or you can enjoy their rock pool safaris, they have crab catching tours as well as bat walks, even a bit of time travel. The National Trust owns and protects this and many other important sections of the coastline, especially around Barafudle Beach, St Davids, Marloes, Porthgain and Dinas.
