Whats normal during the healing process?
Some discharge, swelling and minor discomfort is normal during the healing process. However, prolonged pain, swelling, excessive discharge or severe discoloration is not, and may be a sign of an infection. This is often caused by neglecting to clean the pierced area or frequently touching the jewelry with unwashed hands. If an infection develops, please contact the shop immediately.
