WHATS NEXT FOR CHUCK LIDDELL?
Many times Dana White has called Chuck Liddell the biggest star in MMA and that has been justified. No other MMA fighter is recognized more in the mainstream media than Chuck Liddell. With his recent string of losses though, one has to assume his popularity among casual fans will begin to waiver. People like winners. It’s cut and dry. Liddell’s career is far from over though and if he announced his retirement anytime soon I would be shocked. The bottom line is his approach to MMA has been dissected and he has become very beatable. Is it time for a camp change? Probably. Should he start to incorporate a ground game and/or submission skills? Maybe.
