We have added a lot more content to the Historical Atlas, including: a complete set of boundary and ward maps for 1842-2005; the 1938 Civic Survey of Sydney; and two later 1940s planning schemes for Redfern and Surry Hills. These schemes envisaged sweeping away the existing ‘slums’ and streets and creating new communities based on high rise apartment blocks set in parkland. Visit our catalogues page to find the link to the Atlas.
